SBF Gets 25 Years…

SBF was found guilty of defrauding customers and investors of his cryptocurrency exchange FTX and was sentenced to 25 years in prison on Thursday by a federal judge, who ruled that Bankman-Fried committed perjury and attempted witness tampering. He could do as little as 12.5 years with good behavior.

 A light sentence considering he lost 8 billion dollar’s worth of customer deposits. It’s not unheard of for fraudsters to walk away pretty unscathed, Enron CEO Jeff Skilling got 24-years, and Theranos founder Elizabeth Holmes only got 11. I’m sure it will be in a cushy low security prison with a tennis court. Think of Jordan Belforts character in the Wolf of Wall Street.

Hopefully this will serve as a warning and reminder to those investing, working, and innovating the crypto space. It’s not play money, it’s very real. People’s lives are affected, and there is accountability.

I don’t know about you, but I love when these movies come out. I love these movies for what they are, fun. If you’re looking for academy award winning acting/writing/and directing Godzilla x Kong: The New World is probably not the movie for you. If you’re looking for an hour and fifty-five minutes of giant monsters throwing down, get your popcorn ready.

Kong and Godzilla are teaming up again to take on a new foe, a new giant ape that’s going to make us question everything we’ve learned from Kong: Skull Island to the Monarch TV series. Not really but that’s what they’re telling us. If I’m being honest with myself here, I don’t even really need much of a plot here. Give me some semblance of a conflict between the monsters and let’s get into it, like the title says, give us all the monster fights.
