NBA Playoff Preview

The NBA regular season for 2023-24 has wrapped up, setting the stage for an exciting playoff run. According to the Draft Kings Sportsbook, the Boston Celtics have the best odds to win the Larry O’Brien trophy at +120 followed by the defending champion Denver Nuggets at +280.

The Matchups:

Over in the Eastern Conference, the Milwaukee Bucks slid to the 3rd seed and will kick off the playoffs against the Indiana Pacers. Meanwhile, the Cleveland Cavaliers held onto 4th place and are set to clash with the 5th-seeded Orlando Magic.

On the other side, the Boston Celtics snagged the top seed, and the New York Knicks secured the 2nd seed following the Play-In Tournament. The Miami Heat snagged the 8th spot, facing off against the Philadelphia 76ers at the start of the playoffs.

In the wild Western Conference, the Oklahoma City Thunder held firm at the No. 1 seed, with the Denver Nuggets climbing to 2nd place. The Minnesota Timberwolves slipped to the 3rd seed after the regular season's finale.

Notably, the Phoenix Suns clinched a critical win against the Timberwolves, leaping to the 6th seed and securing a direct spot in the playoffs. Meanwhile, the New Orleans Pelicans landed at 7th place and eventually clinched 8th after battling through the Play-In games.
